You can start casting those votes today in Hillsborough, Hernando, Citrus, Polk and Pinellas counties. Early voting for Pasco and Manatee counties will begin on the 29th. Polling locations will open at 7 am, and to find your polling place just click here. By the way, don’t even think about taking a selfie with your filled-out ballot. It’s against the law.
The Better Business Bureau of West Florida is warning us to watch out for flood-damaged cars being sold in the Bay area. We’re third on the list of states where it’s done the most. The BBB says to check the VIN numbers and use a dealer you trust.
The gay rights group Human Rights Campaign released the Municipal Equality Index and St Pete is one of three cities in the state receiving high marks. St Petersburg, Orlando and Wilton Manor all had a score of 100. Lowest scoring cities were Cape Coral and Port St. Lucie.

The Bucs won in San Francisco yesterday 34-17, evening out record so far to 3-3. Next up for the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium are the Oakland Raiders Sunday at 1 pm. And the World Series gets underway tomorrow night with the Cleveland Indians taking on the Chicago Cubs in game one at Progressive Field in Cleveland. It’s also opening night for the Cleveland Cavaliers so traffic in downtown Cleveland is expected to be very congested.
