As the University of South Florida continues to look at the possibility of building an on-campus stadium, the Tampa Sports Authority will be talking about a proposed new deal between USF and Raymond James Stadium today that includes a six year deal with a five year option. That deal also has a termination clause with 24-month written notice. The TSA Executive Committee and the Bucs has to approve any deal first.
A Sarasota deputy is charged with trying to kill a woman he was stealing money from. 46-year-old Deputy Frankie Bybee met the 79 year old woman when he was on a call to her home back in October. Bybee had allegedly sold her dog on Craigslist and checks were found with her forged signature and his fingerprints. He tried to kill the elderly woman and make it look like suicide. He’s facing charges of attempted murder and more.
Florida Fish and Wildlife are getting help with the python problem. They’re working with the Irula tribe from India that have already caught 13 snakes in just over a week.
