Weather made a mess out of travel plans to the Northeast yesterday. Between Tampa and Orlando International Airport some 200 flights were canceled. As the airlines get back up to speed there may still be some delays so check with your carrier before heading out.
The Sirata Beach Resort has been sold for over $80 million dollars. The buyers were are from Texas – Crescent Real Estate, who partnered with an Atlanta company to buy the hotel and conference center.
Two of the five performers from Circus Sarasota that were injured Wednesday after falling over twenty feet off a high wire have been released from the hospital. The accident happened when they were practicing an eight-person pyramid with star Nik Wallenda and lost their balance. Wallenda was not among those hurt. The show will go on at Circus Sarasota as scheduled tonight but with a different act.
