Hills County Commissioners Approved Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

Hillsborough County Commissioners approved an ordinance Tuesday that will allow medical marijuana dispensaries to operate within the county. The dispensaries will not be allowed to operate near bars or schools, but there won’t be a limit on how many dispensaries can operated within the county. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 2005 Ford F-250 that hit a 16 year old girl walking to school in Riverview yesterday, and then took off. The accident happened at the intersection of 301 and Balm Riverview. If you can help call the HCSO at 813-247-8200.

Dade City’s Wild Things will no longer offer their “swim with the tigers” program at the park. The Florida Department of Agriculture has also fined Wild Things $21,000 for what they call “rough or excessive handling.” The park has until March 17th to appeal.

The National Transportation Safety Board has issued their report on the plane crash that killed three near Cedar Key last month, They cited bad weather, and said the pilot was not legally qualified to fly in that type of weather.
