Al Lang wins expansion vote – Rowdies Facebook page
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are getting what they want. Voters in St Petersburg pass that special referendum by an overwhelming 87% in favor of a 25-year lease for the Rowdies which could lead to a Major League Soccer team calling Al Lang home. But that vote came from less than 20% of registered voters who actually did vote. The Bill Edwards group and an investors group say they have $80 million dollars set aside for renovations to the stadium.

There’s also quite a few volunteers checking nests daily. The Sea Turtle Patrol from Mote Marine laboratory found their first nests just this week.
