Today marks the first anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shootings where 49 people died. A private ceremony was help early this morning for survivors and families of the victims. Today has been designated at Orlando United Day with more events including blood drives throughout the week. Click here to join The Dove for tomorrow’s event at Derby Lane. A single engine plane crashed into a church parking lot, just missing the church full of parishioners at the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Griffin Road in Bartow. The plane hit a car in the parking lot, seriously injuring the pilot. He was lucky – two nurses were inside the church and ran outside to help the pilot. The NTSB is investigating.


There was just one winning tickets sold in the Powerball drawing Saturday night for a grand prize of an estimated $447.8 million. That lone ticket was sold at a store in Menifee, southeast of Los Angeles.
