The CDC is warning of a shortage of Bee venom used to treat people with insect allergies. The limited supply is due to a manufacturer shut down.

Mac Dill Air Force Base is the recipient of a $135 million grant to help upgrade the facility.

Clearwater Aquarium released  “wash back” hatchlings yesterday after the baby turtles spent several months in rehabilitation at the Center.

A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Kennedy Space Center Wednesday, carrying the Intelsat 35e communications satellite into orbit.  This was the third attempt  for SpaceX to get the Falcon 9 rocket off the pad. Technical issues and weather postponed both previous attempts about 10 seconds before blastoff Sunday and Monday.

Researchers believe they’ve uncovered evidence that famed aviator Amelia Earhart and her navigator may have been captured by the Japanese after their plane went down in 1937 in the Pacific.   Newly discovered photos appear to show the pilots in the Marshall Islands with the plane in tow.

Tropical Depression Four was formed late Wednesday out in the Atlantic. The storm is not expected to become a tropical storm at this time.

The Chicago Cubs rallied to beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-3 yesterday.
