New Tropical System Forms

Dramatic video from the Pasco County Sheriff’s office shows just how carefully we need to pay attention on the road for stopped vehicles. Deputies taking care of a minor crash at 52 and Hayes Rd were injured when another crash happened right next to them. Deputy Peter Knorr hurt his hand and will be okay.


The Houston Astros have made Tropicana Field their temporary home thanks to Harvey. They wind up a three game stand against the Texas Rangers tonight. All proceeds from ticket sales, concessions and parking will go toward disaster relief. The death toll is at 31 and as flood waters recede that number is expected to rise.
