If you’re still without power Duke Energy has updated their approximate restoration times. Pinellas County still has the most residents without out power at just under 60,000. Duke also will not charge customers late fees or reconnection fees due to non-payment due to to Hurricane Irma.

All counties in the Bay area are eligible for disaster relief from FEMA. Pasco, Citrus and Highlands were added late yesterday after complaints were issued when the original list came out. See if you qualify. To find a Disaster Relief Center, or if you need more information call 1-800-621-3362.

School will resume for students in Hillsborough, Hernando, Polk and Pinellas counties on Monday. Classes at USF Tampa and St Petersburg will open Thursday along with the University of Tampa.

Pet shelters on both sides of the bay suffered losses after Hurricane Irma. Someone stole a generator and all their tools from the shed at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. And over at the Humane Society of Pinellas, their building suffered $15,000 worth of damage. All the pets had been evacuated safely before that. To help just click on those links.
