You can thank Hurricane Nate for those higher than normal high tides on both sides of the Bay over the weekend. We may see that for a few more days.

There are fewer options when taking the bus in Hillsborough County this morning. The Hillsborough County Regional Transit Authority’s new program called “Mission Max” was designed with fewer routes that are aimed at providing better and faster connections. For possible changes to your route, take a look here.

The Department of Children and Families is helping more than 30,000 families here in Florida with Food for Florida following Hurricane Irma. The lines have been long but to speed things up you can apply online and find locations here.

The Bucs may be taking a look at as many as six different kickers today over at One Buc Place. One of those is a familiar face. Pat Murray was with the Bucs in 2014 but was lost to injuries the past few years. Current kicker Nick Folk has missed six kicks over the last two games.

If you’re dealing with a leaky roof after Hurricane Irma, the Army Corps of Engineers has Operation Blue Roof underway. The program is free for homeowners and provides blue tarps put up by licensed contractors. Here’s a link to their site, and you can call for more information at 1-888-ROOF-BLU OR 1-888-7663258.
