The parents of accused Seminole Heights killer Emanuel Donaldson are still refusing to answer question from the prosecutor about their son yesterday. They had been allowed a two-minute video visit with him on Friday at the Orient Road Jail where he is being held without bail. A hearing is scheduled today.
A Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy piloting a helicopter was temporarily blinded by a laser but managed to land safely in a parking lot. Pilot Stephen Bowman tracked that person to his home. Now 27 year old Ryan Fluke is facing third degree felony charged for pointing that laser.
If you paid your Duke Energy bill by check or cash at a payment processing center your personal information may have been stolen. TIO Networks process those payments and reported a hack that can affect customer information going back to 2008. TIO is sending letters out to customers in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
The Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association let the Hillsborough County School Board know what they thought of that raise that amounted to $92 per teacher at yesterday’s meeting. They demonstration outside was loud it could be heard inside. There is still no agreement between the two sides and discussions will continue.
