State Wants Death Penalty For Accused Seminole Heights Killer

Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren said yesterday the state will seek the death penalty for accused Seminole Heights killer Howell Donaldson III. Donaldson’s parents will be in court on Friday in their own civil contempt case and could face jail time if they continue to refuse to answer questions about their son.

 

 

Heading to Pier 60 for some of those iconic sunset shots? Sorry, it’s closed for repairs. The city has shut down about half the Pier through February 2nd to upgrade the bait house with new siding and air conditioning, and repair the pavilions.

 

 

The FBI now says it was not pipe bombs that went off at the Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales Sunday. Someone wrapped flares in duct tape which caused some damage, but no one was hurt. Lakes Wales police are asking for your help with any information.

 

 

 

Pasco County will finally receive more than $6 million in federal aid to help with major drainage problems. Street flooding has always been an issue in many areas. There are three specific areas targeted with the first project due for completion in two years.
