Lawsuit Filed In Casino Boat Fire

A lawsuit has been filed against the owners of the casino shuttle boat that caught fire in Port Richey earlier this month. Tropical Breeze Casino Cruz is being sued by Deborah Jero for injuries she suffered jumping from the boat in the amount of $15,000. One woman did die after she went home after the fire and her cause of death is under investigation.

This doesn’t happen every day. A Panama City man tried to steal two airplanes at Peter O Knight Airport, then a golf cart and finally a fuel truck that he crashed into a builing on the grounds. Drew Bronnenberg is facing a long list of charges.


keep-tampaWhen the pirates had left Bayshore after the Gasparilla parade, volunteers came through to clean up. Thousands of leftover beads and lots of trash were cleared. Volunteer divers will go in to the Bay this weekend to recover more beads that are harmful to sea life.


Pier 60 in Clearwater remains closed for repairs. The city has shut down about half the Pier through February 2nd to upgrade the bait house with new siding and air conditioning, and repair the pavilion
