Commissioners Want Answers In 911 Outage

Hillsborough County Commissioner Stacy White wants more answers than Frontier is providing after 911 service went out. Frontier is blaming a crew in Clewiston in South Florida for accidentally cutting a cable. Repairs were completed but in case it does go down again, keep this list of back-up numbers handy.



Pinellas County is looking for lifeguards. The job openings are for March through September at Ft DeSoto, Sand Key and Fred Howard Parks. We have details on how to apply here.


A lawsuit has been filed against the owners of the
casino shuttle boat that caught fire in Port Richey earlier this month. Tropical Breeze Casino Cruz is being sued by Deborah Jero for injuries she suffered jumping from the boat in the amount of $15,000. One woman did die after she went home after the fire and her cause of death is under investigation.


When the pirates had left Bayshore after the Gasparilla parade, volunteers came through to clean up. Thousands of leftover beads and lots of trash were cleared. Volunteer divers will go in to the Bay this weekend to recover more beads that are harmful to sea life.
