Pasco County Sheriff Faked Out On Facebook

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco had Facebook shut a fake Facebook account shut down that was fraudulently asking for donations to a PSCO K9 unit. They don’t know if anyone was ripped off but if you have questions call the tip line at 1-800-706-2488.


A South Tampa mom-to-be surprised her husband with the help of their flight crew on the way to Chicago. She slipped a note to the flight attendants. Audrey Rose and her husband David even posted their video online.


It’s the kindness of strangers that may help a dream come true – again. Tanner Broadwell and Nikki Walsh wanted to sail around the world but their boat sank on only their second day out in John’s Pass. A GoFundMe account has raised over $11,000. Everything they owned was lost when the ship sank and the Coast Guard wants that sunken ship out of the water. There’s more on the story here.


Tampa International Airport’s new SkyConnect people mover will start operating from the economy garage and the new car rental center on Wednesday. TIA officials estimate 2,500 passengers per hour  in each direction will use the train.
