Guilty Plea Entered; Students and Educators Remembered

Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer entered a not guilty plea on behalf of accused Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz Wednesday. Prosecutors are asking for the death penalty in the shooting deaths of 17 students and teachers.

 

 

Students across the nation walked out of class yesterday in memory of those seventeen who died in Parkland on Valentines Day. 1,500 Students at Clearwater High School  were among those who remembered the students and educators who died.

 

 

It looks like Toys R Us is about to close all 740 of their stores. 30,000 jobs are at risk. The online store will stay open for a few weeks as they look for a buyer. The liquidation includes the Babies R Us stores and holdings worldwide.

 

 

 

Boaters on the Braden River are being warned to watch out for otters. Two attacks in two days have been reported to the FWC, leaving one woman with stitches and facing rabies shots. There are warnings posted at Linger Lodge advising boater about the aggressive otters.
