Sunday’s strong storms triggered tornado warning and watches all across the Bay area. There was one report of a possible tornado in St Pete, and the westbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway were briefly shut down when a tree fell across the road. There were also reports of scattered power outages and minor damage. Now cooler air will move in for a few days but it will still be windy so boating conditions will not be good.

The Lightning take a two game lead in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs with their Saturday win at Amalie Arena. The series moves on to New Jersey tonight for game three against the Devils with a 730 pm start. Game four is Wednesday, and if a fifth game is necessary it’s back Tampa on Saturday.

There’s a massive recall under way for more than 200 million eggs possibly contaminate with salmonella. They are all from a farm in Indiana that sells to seven different states including Florida. Check for more on the story here and in Ann Kelly’s Kitchen at wduv.com.
