Hurricane Center Making Changes To Forecasts

The National Hurricane Center is making changes to their “cone of uncertainty” that shows the possible parth of a hurricane. Other changes will include extend advisories out 72 hours to allow for more preparation. They’ll also issues advisories on when winds will become dangerous along with heavy rain predictions.




Former First Lady Barbara Bush has died in Texas at 92. She was married for 45 years to former President George Bush, the longest marriage of any White House couple.




It’s game four of the NHL playoffs Wednesday night in New Jersey with the Lightning taking on the Devils. Game time is 7:30 pm, but the Lightning will hold a Playoff Block Party at Armature Works in Tampa starting at 530 pm. The Lightning return to Amalie Arena Saturday for game five. Game six is back in Jersey Monday, April 23rd,  and if game seven is necessary it’s back to Amalie Arena on Wednesday, April 25th.




Jameis Winston’s paycheck is about to get bigger. The Bucs picked up his fifth-year option on his original rookie contract. He’ll make $20.9 million dollars for his fifth year.

What appear to be nine breeder dogs were found stuffed into one crate and abandoned in an alley in St Pete Monday night. St Pete Police consider this a case of animal cruelty. Pawlicious Poochie Rescue of St Pete took the dogs in to be treated for various conditions.
