Depression Opens In Pasco County

Pasco County Emergency Management officials are keeping an eye on a 15 foot deep depression that opened yesterday. It’s on private area in the Moon Lake area, and three homeowners voluntarily evacuated with one choosing to stay. And no, you can’t call it a sinkhole quite yet. A New Tampa family out  for a  bike ride over the weekend were struck by a hit-and-run driver, killing the father, Pedro Aguerreberry, and injuring his two sons. Police did find the car they believe struck the three and have taken 30-year-old Mikese Morsto custody. He has been charged with premeditated first degree murder as well as two counts of attempted murder.




PSTA has a new bus route to get you to Tampa International Airport. The Airport Express will cost $3 each way and will leave from a park and ride lot in Largo. Eight trips a day are planned and there’s no charge to park in the lot.




The Tampa Bay Lightning’s schedule is out for next season. The first home game that will kick off five in a row is October 6th against the Florida Panthers. The first games against the Washington Capitals that knocked the Lightning out of the race for the Stanley Cup won’t be until March.
