The Florida Orchestra is looking for a new president. President & CEO, Michael Pastreich has successfully led the orchestra for the past for more than ten years. making him the longest-serving president in their 50-year history. Marketing Director Sherry Powell will step in as the search begins. Pastreich will leave the orchestra in September.
Pasco County Fire Rescue pulled a worker from a ditch filled with water that was up to his neck Monday. That trench had collapsed at Old Pasco Road and Quail Hollow Blvd in Wesley Chapel trapping the man. He was taken to the hospital and it appears he’ll be fine.
No winning for the Mega Millions jackpot over the weekend so now for tonight’s drawing the jackpot is an estimated $512 million dollars. That drawing is at 11 pm and the last time there was a winning ticket that was back on May 4th in Ohio.

There are limits of $60 or less for items like clothing, shoes and other supplies. An adopt-a-teacher program a Tampa woman has created has gone viral. Ellie Baggett wants to help teachers who actually buy their own classroom supplies. The idea is to adopt a teacher and spend around $30 for supplies for them.
