Low concentrations of red tide are now showing up offshore from Hillsborough County. The latest map from the FWC shows red extending from south Florida all the way up to Hillsborough County. It’s on the low side in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Check that new map here along with the latest report. Red tide is also being blamed for more dead and sick sea turtles being found on Florida beaches. If you do spot a turtle in distress you can report disoriented or stranded sea turtles to 978-728-3663(978-SAVE-ONE).

But if you have incurred overdraft fees as the result of the problems with SunPass the state of Florida is going to reimburse you. Here’s how to apply for funds, and if you’d like to talk with a SunPass rep if you have questions at 1-888-TOLL-FLA or 1-888-865-5352.
