Red Tide Smells Bad And Makes Some Sick

Southwest Coast Red Tide Counts September 11 through 18, 2018The red tide in Pinellas County is making people sick, especially for those with respiratory problems. Florida Fish & Wildlife’s latest report came out yesterday and shows high concentrations of red tide in five counties including Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties. To track the levels of red tide, check the latest map from Florida Fish and Wildlife.



There’s been an arrest in the murder of Tampa Bay artists and muralist Matt Callahan. Keith Mauga, 34, will be charged with manslaughter. Police say he allegedly punched Callahan back in April leading to his death at Tampa General Hospital two day later.

QB Jameis Winston sits this one out as well as part of his three-game suspension for allegedly groping an Uber driver. That driver is now suing Winston.
