Visit Florida Criticized For Red Tide Response

Visit Florida is being hit with a lot of criticism over what see as a less then timely response to the red tide crisis. Visit Florida  is partially funded with tax-payer dollars. Business owners say an email out this week was just too late. You can see that email here.. But there is an app now for Pinellas County residents to see how things are in the county. Florida Fish and Wildlife will a new map available today.

The museum will offer free admission Saturday for Museum Day.This Saturday is Museum Day with free admission to some 20 Bay area museums that include the Tampa Museum of Art, Imagine Museum and The Ringling. You do have to download a ticket here for that free admission.You can also visit a national park for free Saturday. It’s “National Public Lands Day,” and in Florida there are five to visit. That includes the Canaveral National Seashore, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and Everglades National Park. IHurricane Florence: 4 people arrested for break-ins after storm evacuations, sheriff says f you want to make a donation to those affected by Florence, be careful. Give only to organizations you know and trust or directly to the person affected. We have a list of groups that are accepting donations. Blood donations are also need as well as volunteer hours. Some breweries have stopped beer production and are canning water to be distributed to storm victims.

Their next game is one on Monday Night Football against the Steeler’s on Monday Night Football at Raymond James Stadium. QB Jameis Winston sits this one out as well as part of his three-game suspension for allegedly groping an Uber driver. That driver is now suing Winston.
